new year. happy?

I don’t really see what the big deal is about celebrating the new year. you’re gonna have 365 days worth of 2009, so why the fuss? is it really worth the trouble? a week from now, you’re gonna forget about the party you attended. you’re gonna forget about the tv progamme you watched. heck, you’re probably gonna forget your resolutions. seriously speaking, new year is one of the lamest excuses for a celebration. cny is wayyyyy more meaningful. at least you uphold tradition. on the first of jan, people are probably gonna take drugs and get drunk. ahhhh.
